This is not a retreat for everyone.
It’s an intimate, application-only gathering for leaders, professionals, space holders, and others carrying high levels of responsibility or stress—people who rarely get the space to step away, breathe deeply, and truly reset.
Cultivating Refuge is a 4-day immersive retreat for those who are a refuge for others—caregivers, leaders, and people in high-responsibility roles who are relied upon for steadiness, support, and care. In this retreat, we turn that same care inward. Together, we’ll explore what it means to create a refuge within yourself—not just for the benefit of those you serve, but for your own restoration, clarity, and wellbeing.
This is a professionally curated experience that weaves expanded states of consciousness, trauma-informed practices, and integrative mental health into a supportive arc of rest, reflection, and reconnection.
For those who qualify, an optional ketamine-assisted session is offered in a safe, medically supported, and skillfully facilitated group format. All participants are carefully screened to protect the safety and integrity of the container.
Hosted by Dr. Nikki Davis—Living Refuge founder, clinical psychologist, and contemplative guide—alongside members of the Living Refuge Collective, this retreat offers space, guidance, and community for releasing what no longer serves you and reconnecting with what sustains you.
This is a retreat designed with equal attention to depth and joy. Every day offers a mix of meaningful inner work, nourishing connection, and experiences that awaken the senses.
You can look forward to:
🌿 Guided mindfulness, gentle movement, and reflective practices daily
🌿 A permaculture farm tour with hands-on activities (like juicing, foraging, or pickling)

🌿 A group acupuncture + yoga nidra session, sound healing and nightly campfire gatherings
🌿 Optional ketamine-assisted session for eligible participants, with full preparation and integration (medical and mental health clearance required)

Some moments will be deep and quiet. Others will be lighthearted and even awe-inspiring. All will be held in a safe, supportive environment that invites you to reset your nervous system, release what’s been weighing on you, and return home with clarity and renewed energy.
