These retreats are designed for clinicians, space holders, and seekers who accompany others through deep healing and are seeking a place to reconnect with themselves.
Whether you are integrating personal or professional experiences—including experiences involving non-ordinary states of consciousness or traumatic events—or simply longing to soften into deeper presence, these retreats offer structure without pressure and guidance without agenda.
Rooted in contemplative practice, self-compassion, and trauma-informed principles, each immersion weaves together silence, gentle inquiry, relational reflection, and embodied mindfulness.
What sets Living Refuge retreats apart is the intentional psychological safety, the depth of presence held by Dr. Nikki Davis—a licensed psychologist and contemplative guide—and the collective care offered by a trusted team of integrative practitioners. These retreats are more than rest; they are a return to what sustains you.
From live didactic courses to experiential workshops to online group meetings and self paced classes, we at Living Refuge strive to meet the mental health needs of our community in varied formats. These events are mindfulness based and rooted in both science and tradition. See our Events calendar listed below for upcoming courses and events.
Personal and professional intensives can focus on a variety of issues, including everything from personal growth to burnout resilience to trauma resolution. Intensives are individually tailored to your specific needs, and can include insight-oriented discussion and reflection, mindfulness exercises and somatic interventions including meditation and movement, and other experiential activities. These intensives vary in length as well, ranging from hours to over the course of several days. They can be held onsite at Living Refuge, or at a location near you.
Psychedelic services include pre- and post-psychedelic integration sessions for people accessing legal psychedelics for mental health purposes. At present, ketamine is the only psychedelic medicine that is FDA approved for treating mental health conditions, and has shown profound therapeutic effects for treatment-resistant depression and pain management.
KAP (ketamine assisted psychotherapy) services are offered in conjunction with a trusted medical provider and include preparation, dosing and integration sessions. Please submit a “Contact Us“ inquiry form for more details, including specific programming and pricing.
